Open letter · for former Partful customers

Partful's gone.
We can have your catalog
live again in a week.

Partful went into administration on 2026-04-13. If you have your CAD source, you have what we need — we'll personally migrate the first ten customers off the list.

The playbook

Three weeks, three steps. If your situation is more complicated, we'll tell you.

Week 1
Send us your STEP files (and your BOM if you have one)
We convert them, score-match the BOM to mesh, and send you the staging viewer link. You review the matches, override the low-confidence ones.
Week 2
Re-author the hotspots & illustrations
Hotspot/annotation data lived inside Partful. You'll re-author those — we provide a UI that takes about a third of the time it took on Partful for a typical assembly.
Week 3
Flip DNS · go live
Point your parts.yourcompany.com CNAME at quidities. We support custom domains on Pro. Your old Partful links keep working (we 302 to the new ones once you've reviewed).

A note from the team

If you have a deadline, talk to us.

We're not a sales team. We're two engineers and a working CAD-to-web pipeline that was being built before the news broke. A lot of Partful customers are facing a service-season cliff and we want to be useful, not opportunistic.

For the first ten migration customers, we'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with you. We'll personally do the conversion, the BOM-matching review, and the DNS swap on a shared screen. Talk to us upfront about scope — we'll come back with a quote before you commit, and we ask for candid feedback when something we built doesn't fit your use case.

If your deadline depends on a feature that isn't shipped today, we'd rather tell you that now than waste your service season. Email [email protected] or book a call.

Questions we've already had

FAQ.

We don't have CAD source — only the converted assets from Partful. Can you still help?
Mostly yes. We can ingest the glTF if you can export it, but you lose the BOM-to-mesh links and have to re-author them. We have a tool that uses naming heuristics to recover most of them — typical recovery rate is 70–80% for assemblies under 200 parts. Talk to us early so we can size the work.
What happens to our old Partful URLs?
Once your migration is live, we can configure 302 redirects from your old subdomain to the new viewer URLs (you map them; we run them). If your subdomain pointed at Partful infrastructure that's gone, you'll need to repoint DNS at us first.
We have role-based access (dealer vs. customer) on Partful. That's not in your shipped feature set — what do we do?
If you need it before we ship the general-purpose role system, we can scope a minimum viable role gate (two roles, no nested permissions) as a paid pilot in exchange for prioritising it. Email us with your specific needs and we'll come back with a realistic timeline for your case.
Is Quidities going to be acquired or shut down too?
Quidities is built by Pogodan — a profitable engineering shop that's been running for several years on consulting revenue. The site isn't dependent on raising a round. Worst case, we open-source the viewer and converter so you can self-host.
Pricing?
Pricing isn't set yet — we'll publish numbers after 5+ discovery calls. See /pricing for the full breakdown. Migration customers get grandfathered into the lowest tier of whatever we land on once it lands.
